Curriculum Vitae


Theodoros Papanikolaou studied Music with Sound Recording at Kingston University, UK completing an Association of Professional Recording Services (APRS) and Music Producers Guild (MPG) accredited degree course. He has also completed postgraduate studies in Music Information Technology at City University, London.

As a recording engineer he has recorded from pop and jazz bands to string quartets and symphony orchestras and choruses, in studios and on-location mainly in the London area.

He is active as a freelance technical editor and reviewer of consumer and professional audio equipment for technical magazines in Athens, Greece and various web sites.

As a press correspondent he has covered extensively some of the most important international consumer electronics shows including the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas and IFA, Berlin.

He is the Deputy Head of Technology at the Department of Sound Recording and Music Technology at Domi Institute of Vocational Training, Athens, Greece.

He had been a student member and he is currently a full member of the Audio Engineering Society.
